1NT-(P)-3 Puppet Stayman-(Double)- Pass/Redouble/3

Playing 3 as Puppet Stayman over a 15-17 1NT opening, responder's LHO doubles the 3 bid.

Assume you are playing that 3NT normally would not be an allowed response (a version becoming more and more popular these days) and that only 3 (denies 5-card major), and 3M are allowed responses without interference.

What should pass, redouble, and 3 by opener show after the double of 3?

And feel free to comment on whether anything tends to show or deny a club stopper.

I will assume that with a 5-card major, opener will (nearly) always bid his 5-card major. Feel free to comment if not true in your opinion.

[Note - I added a 4th and 5th option in the poll to either show or deny a club stopper by bidding anything. Feel free to change "Other" to choice 4 or 5 if it applies to you.]

3 shows 5-card suit and says nothing about opener's club holding; otherwise redouble with four strong clubs, otherwise pass
3 shows 5-card or very good 4-card suit and says nothing about opener's club holding; otherwise redouble with four strong clubs, otherwise pass
Other (and feel free to comment on any other choice that should be added to this poll)
Bidding anything shows a club stopper
Bidding anything denies a club stopper
