[ACBL] Open Chart Allows These Bids?

The ACBL Open Chart includes in the Disallowed section:

In segments of fewer than 6 boards, an Artificial 1-level opening bid showing length only in a known suit other than the one opened, unless that bid is also Strong and Forcing.

This means that a 1 opening which shows length in spades is disallowed (unless strong and forcing). But, it seems to me to allow some rather more tricky methods.

  • A 1 opening which shows spades and a minor. This does not show "length only in a known suit" it shows length in a known suit and an unknown suit.
  • Similarly, a 1 opening which shows exactly four spades and an unbalanced hand. This shows length in spades and at least one other suit.
  • A 1 opening which shows length in either major. It doesn't show length in any known suit so this regulation would appear not to apply.

Which of these methods do you think are ALLOWED (not disallowed by this regulation)?

Please select up to 3 choices.

A 1 opening which shows spades and a minor is allowed.
A 1 opening which shows exactly four spades and an unbalanced hand is allowed.
A 1 opening which shows length in either major is allowed.
None of these are allowed.
