Partner leads the ace of clubs. According to the rules, spades are the Obvious Shift suit. If you want a spade shift, discourage clubs. Otherwise encourage. The jack of clubs would ask for an unusual shift. What do you play and why?

Is this really an an Obvious Shift situation at all? If not, what do you play and why?
