NS ended up in this slam with very little play.

NS are playing 2/1 15-17, no Flannery.

2 was Reverse Drury

4 was a self-splinter

4NT was RKC 1430

5 was an ask for the Q

Some possible alternative actions: S could have bid 2 over 2, natural to show about 14+ hcp, GF

N could have bid 4 or cuebid 4 over 4.  A 4 cuebid will probably lead to 4NT then 5, and S will probably not continue.

All comments welcome on other ways to avoid this (hopefully while maintaining a chance at finding a reasonable slam, e.g., N holding A, Q, KQ or Kx).

Which of the following, if any, best describes the error(s)?

1. S's 4
2. N's 4NT instead of 4
3. N's 5
4. Both (1) and (2)
5. Both (1) and (3)
6. Both (2) and (3)
7. All of (1), (2) and (3)
8. N's 4NT instead of 4
9. Both (1) and (8)
10. No serious error
