East first lead 2 after considering cash A to look at the dummy first.

Partner/west won first trick with Ace. sigh of relief can only be heard by east himself.

west then returned 10, east won with Ace, played heart back hoping west had 5 hearts and either major ace.

declarer showed her hand and claimed, made 5. That gave defense a bottom.

If west returned , defense could get at least 3 diamonds and a heart.

since 4S cannot be defeated, that would give defense a top.

west's argument for returning heart is declarer may have  32  KJ32  KQ32  AK2, thus he needs to play heart to blow up dummy's entry before spade is established.

please assess the blame.

100% west, declarer would be crazy to bid 3NT without spade Ace.
100% north, even with AJ in spades, you cannot be sure spade will run. only reasonable game is 4S.
100% east, for being silly trying to make sense out of this madness. Also for being such a sarcastic sorry ass, wasting everyone's time reading this.
100% south, should have tabled weaker suit like QT9xxxx to teach north a lesson not to assume 3S promise a decent suit when you are white.
All of the above.
none of the above, please comment and state your point. thanks.
