Bauke-Muller

Bauke Muller is the only player on the Dutch team who has already won a Bermuda Bowl, doing so in 1993. Since 2001, he has teamed up with Simon de Wijs and they have been regulars on the squad ever since. They have won the Open EC twice, doing so in 2005 and 2007, while also finishing on the podium at the Bermuda Bowl in 2007.

Bauke is nicknamed ‘the professor’ because of his brilliant but time-consuming play at the bridge table. Because of his successes in bridge, he has been named a honorary citizen of his hometown Hoorn. He likes to spent time outside, citing sports as windsurfing and skating as his hobbies, he is married, has one daughter and works as a researcher/analyst.
