BW 2/1: Splinters Into Opener's Suit

This is the seventh poll in our series to help codify a Bridge Winners Standard for 2/1.

A jump into a new suit in a 2/1 auction is a splinter. For example, 1-2; 2-3. What about a jump into opener's suit? For example, 1-2; 2-3. Is this a splinter, or is it setting opener's suit? And if it is setting the suit, how is it different from bidding 2M?

It is a splinter
It is setting opener's suit, and it is stronger than 2M (i.e., a slam try)
It is setting opener's suit, and it is weaker than 2M
It is setting opener's suit, and it shows good trumps, a good first suit, and is slammish
It is setting opener's suit, and it shows another particular type of hand (i.e., a picture bid)
