Can Bergen raises be unlimited?

Over 1 or 1 opening, many pairs play some variation of Bergen raises.

1) 3 shows constructive raise, 3 shows invitational raise, both showing 4+trumps (or reverse the meaning of 3 and 3 bid)

2) 3 shows invitational with 4+ trump support, 3 shows invitational with exactly 3 trumps. (or reverse the meaning of 3 and 3 bid)

So the question is, can you afford to put GF hands into the Bergen raise basket?

I know some people play 2NT as inv+ raise with 4+ trumps, this would be similar to a unlimited Bergen raise, so feel free to discuss about this sequence as well.

Also feel free to discuss the alternative usage for saved up space of 1M - 2NT/3/3 when it is not used as a major raise. (Fit jump? natural invitational? Weak jump shift? etc.)

Please select up to 7 choices.

Over 1) play 3 (or 3) as constructive or GF with 4 trumps makes sense
Over 1) play 3 (or 3) as inv+ with 4 trumps makes sense
Over 2) play 3 (or 3) as inv+ with 4+trump support makes sense
Over 2) play 3 (or 3) as inv+ with exactly 3 trumps makes sense
I play 2NT as some sort of inv+ major raise
inv+ major raise with 2NT/3/3 is not good
