Combining preemptive, mixed, invitational and GF minor-suit raises with showing balanced hands.

I know the perfect is supposed to be the enemy of the good. But I'd still be interested in what players consider the optimal arrangement facing opening bids of a minor (the answer might not be the same for 1 and 1) to deal with the hands mentioned above.

The base is Standard American using XYZ.

Let's say, you might disagree, that you need 2NT as balanced GF, 2m as GF raise.

How best to show the three other ranges of minor suit raise, and invitational balanced 2NT hands?

What about including hands with the other minor? 1-1 probably allows most diamond hands to develop but over 1 getting clubs into play is not so easy for all ranges.

I'm sure 1-2 and 1-2 can include many of these hand types.

Comments on what is best by a passed hand would also be of interest!

Peronally I dont mind losing weak jump responses (I'd rather be playing strong jumps anyway) but that is another story.
