Analysis by Raad Bunni

Double dummy says that E/W can make 4. I do not see how they can get there. After 1 by West. East will probably bid 2 or 2, that will quite West and his 8 HCP. It is a toss up. Some partnerships make a non forcing raise of a major with 3, partnership agreement that if so and the major suit bidder has 4 he will bid 2NT asking opener to pass with 3 cards or bid 3 of the major with 4 cards. Anyway. In 2, you have 1, 1, 2 making 3. In 2, you also have 2, 1, 1

Analysis by Robert Todd

South passes, West passes, and North opens 1. East could double, but should be displeased about the K singleton and the vulnerability and just pass. South makes that Drury bid, and so North accepts to 4 (maybe even splinters to 4, but that's not likely to spark interest in South.)
But it happens that there's this undisclosed fit, and the loser can get pitched, so there's just the 1 loser total! (Assuming declarer guesses the right - can't try for the double hook on this one!)
