Counter-Defense to Transfers over Our 1NT

Pard and I are tinkering with our counter-defense to transfers after our 15-17 notrump opening. We’d like to take best advantage of the extra calls that the transfer provides and are thinking the following:

Pass = nothing to say (yet)

X = transfer to the other major over their 2 or 2

X = Stayman without stopper over their 2 transfer to clubs (2NT = Stayman with stopper over 2 transfer to clubs)

X = Stayman without stopper over their 2NT transfer to 3 (3 = Stayman with stopper)

Cuebid = Stayman without a stopper over their 2 or 2

2NT = Lebensohl except as above

Assuming this is a reasonable start, we get into the follow-ups:

After responder’s P of the transfer bid, what’s responder’s balancing X of the transfer acceptance? (I’m inclined to say penalty-oriented, since didn’t use Stayman or take other initial action.) 2NT would be both minors (since didn’t Stayman, and not bidding 2 with four, having previously denied five).

After responder’s X of their 2 transfer, what does opener’s pass of 2 mean (denies 3 card support)? What’s X by opener? What’s 2NT by opener (per our normal rules, this would actually be Good-Bad, but maybe an exception makes sense, if there’s something better than allowing opener to distinguish a good acceptance from a weaker acceptance)?

If 2 comes back around to responder, what’s 2NT (per our normal rules, this would actually be Good-Bad, but maybe an exception makes sense)? What’s X? Is there a re-transfer bid?

Thoughts on this? Suggestions for alternative approach?
