Do Players Still Sort Their Cards in the UK?

The subject says nearly all.

When I first set foot on US shores, and for quite a while afterwards,  I was in the habit of sorting my cards after every board. This used to be the norm in England. Not infrequently I was questioned about it, and the questioning always had an undertone of accusation to it, as though I were trying to send coded messages, or convince an opponent that the hand had been passed out.

Anyway, do players in the old country now shuffle or sort?

PS. I used to say "No Bid" as well, but bidding boxes have eliminated that disturbance.
