four-card majors

In the United States, I would say that at least 95% of the players play five-card majors in first and second seat. If a pair

systematically opens a four-card major and they play the hand it can really mess up your count of the hand. Therefore, from now

on, whenever a major is opened I'm going to ask if that could be four. I think that everyone should do this until the C&C committee and the BOD

makes four-card majors an announcement similar to 2-card minor openings.
