In the Well
A stranger is being shown around a village that he has just become a part of. He is shown a well and his guide says "On any day except Thursday, you can shout any question down that well and you'll be told the answer". The man seems very impressed, and so he shouts down: Why not on Thursday? and the voice from in the well shouts back: Because on Thursday, it's your day in the well.
Entering the well today is the 2011 ACBL Player of the Year, Joel Wooldridge. Joel nipped out Bobby Levin by 0.95 Masterpoints with his 6th place finish in the North American Swiss. Joel has numerous bridge achievements including his recent Silver Medal in the Bermuda Bowl as part of USA 2, multiple national championships (including the Open Pairs win with Gavin Wolpert featured in the ERROR: UNKNOWN ARTICLE "road-to-victory-first-final-round-1" IN INTERNAL LINK series), and 2 Junior World Championships.
When not playing bridge Joel can be found playing board games, Call of Duty, and Foosball.
