Is the best lead obvious?

Apparently asking the title question and then putting some limited options for the lead in a general poll means that some members of this community flag the post and it gets deleted.

Here is the hand

The scoring was IMPs - I don't think I mentioned that previously.

The previous poll was about 2:1 in favour of leading a trump over a club.

Someone commented that normally a trump lead is suggested on this auction but the short spades argue against that. Also the potential for a diamond trick argues against a trump lead.

What I previously intended was to get some insight into when others thought the risk of losing a trump trick should be ignored because the auction suggests a trump lead.

Another thought I had about a trump lead was that we do not know if partner has any spades to protect by leading a trump. Declarer could be AKT9x.

Anyway I am interested in when to lead a trump presumably hoping to reduce ruffs and when to lead a long suit either as a matter or safety or to attempt to force declarer with this sort of hand.

I have omitted the poll since it was the offending part of the previous post and it was only there to confirm whether there was not a clearly obvious opening lead here and the 2:1 result from the 90 or so votes seems to confirm that the majority trump lead is not completely obvious.

As before feel free to criticise the auction.

In that regard I am most interested in what alternative action you would take in a 2+ club and X promising four hearts environment. As obviously double is better if it does not promise hearts and 2 is better if 1 promises length.

I would also be interested in comments on whether X not promising hearts is playable. The major problem seems to be a preemptive raise which makes the ambiguity of hearts or no hearts more difficult to deal with.

I have flirted with the idea of 1NT not promising spades stopped here but showing useful values with some minor suit length. Does anyone actually do anything like that?
