Jonathan Harris and a great display of sportsmanship.

I played very recently against Jonathan Harris and his team in the 2019 Palace Cup team championship in Warsaw.

At one point of the match, Harris was on lead against 4 having overcalled earlier diamonds, holding AKxxx in .

He lead the A and dummy went down with J10xx in . Declarer paused shortly and played low, third hand hesitated a little too and played Q.

Harris immediately(!) returned a small diamond to declarer's 9 with everyone following.

The remarkable thing was that Harris not only didn't get advantage of the unauthorized information, but he didn't even pause to think if there is a way to minimize the damage with an alternative play, that would be legitimate even if Q was bare.

That's all.
