One of us is deluded(maybe both)

In the ongoing 'Spanish' thread Timo and I have disagreed about a relatively minor matter re how good you have to be in order to accurately identify a 'world class ' player.

I normally find Timo's views quite sound on most matters so to find him so convinced he's right on a subject where I think he's 100% wrong makes me wonder if I'm the one out of step.

So, consider this quote

'But anyway, I disagree with you. In Bridge, you have to be at world class level at some point, in order to understand and judge whether another person is or not world class. That does not mean you have to win world class events. But I expect at least multiple times of contentions as a player and experience at world class level. At least!'
