Something very stragne going on with The Common Game

I am a director in Charlotte, NC and I run 9 sessions per week.

Today at my Sunday afternoon game, I heard a player remark "Wow... an all black hand!"  I inspected the hand and found a 7-6 hand!  A 7-6 hand, at about 1 in 1.8 million, is a once-in-a-lifetime hand... except for one problem... it happened last week.  In all I discovered 3 Common Game Hands in the last 3 weeks that contained a 7-6 shape.  In roughly 2000 common game hands, it is virtually impossible that this is random!

Here are the hands and the dates:

Tuesday Evening, November 10th- #5

North
AKQJ432
AKQJ93

Saturday Afternoon, November 7th- #7

North
KQ8652
KQJ8763

Sunday Afternoon, November 22nd- #7

East
K109865
AJ98532

I can only think of 3 possible explanations:

1.  The random hand generator used by the Common Game is faulty.

2.  These 7-6 hands were inserted to see what large numbers of people would do with them.

3.  This was just a random event.

Any comments???

Joe
