Spot power

I found this hand from the open trials semi-finals USA1 quite cute.  When West makes the error of not cashing his second diamond trick, see if you can find the two spot cards which allow declarer to make the contract.

West's double was a support double.

The key spots are dummy's 7 of spades and declarer's 5 of hearts.  The play starts king of diamond, ducked, and queen of diamonds to dummy's ace.  Heart off dummy, won by East's queen.  East returned the 9 of spades to 10 and king.  Had West cashed the third round of diamonds before continuing spades the hand could not be made, but West apparently wasn't sure of the diamond count so he continued spades.  This made dummy's 7 of spades an entry.  Declarer won the spade shift, unblocked the ace of clubs, crossed to the 7 of spades, cashed the king of clubs discarding his last diamond, and led a heart off dummy to the jack and ace.  He ruffed West's club return and led the 10 of hearts, squashing West's 9 and setting up the 4 of hearts to make the contract.
