Imps. Expert opponents.

1D was precision, 2+ diamonds. 1N rebid showed 11-13 balanced.

Opening lead was the H2, 4th best. East wins the HA, returns the H3. West wins the HQ and returns the H7, dummy sheds a spade and East plays the H6.

If you play three rounds of diamonds, ending in South, East follows twice and pitches the S6.

If you play a spade, West plays an honor.

I thought that working this out at the table was interesting. I could do the spades versus clubs computation, but I didn't know how to compute at the table how it was affected by the 4-2 diamond break.

(One deal doesn't prove anything. Clubs were 3-3 and SKT doubleton were on side! And, yes, hearts were 4-4.)
