Declarer won the spade lead in the closed hand, drew trump in three rounds, cashed a diamond (both defenders following low), and cashed the other diamond (West showing out). What now?

Declarer led a spade to the ten. When it held, Dummy led a club honor, East played low*, and Declarer discarded his other spade honor, endplaying West.

I had read long ago that the declarer was Charles Goren. However, today's syndicated bridge column that runs under the byline B. Jay Becker gives the source of this deal as the 1933 team-of-four club championship of the Franklin Bridge Club of Philadelphia.

It would seem that at least one of these attributions is wrong. Does anyone know which?

* The published version read, "ducked by East," but it was noted that this wording wasn't accurate.
