BBO IMP Pairs. Unknown opponents.

2 was major 2-suited hand (Michaels').

Redbl was undiscussed, assumed by the person who bid it as showing a good hand, as more than a minimum opening bid hand.

Results was +170, missing game bid by many.

Partner of Michaels' hand wasn't sure about meaning of redbl.  (Hand wasn't as good as could have been given lho's Dbl of 2 making it sound like K might not be well placed.).

Do you agree with the 2 Michaels' bid with the major 2-suiter?

What do you think about advancer's pass of the Dbl of 2?

What is the difference between Redbl and simply bidding 2 after the Dbl of 2?

What should advancer bid after the Redbl?

Should the player with the major 2-suiter bid more after advancer's 2 bid after the Redbl?

Should the hand with the major 2-suiter balance with something other than 2 (such as 1 followed by some number of s?  If yes, how many s?)

Thanks in advance/ DHL
