The DBL showed three card heart suppprt. The RDB showed 8+hcp and a doubleton spade. After such a RDB our partnership agreement is that subsequent doubles are penalty.

At the other table, east opened 1C and west bid 1H but passed the RDB allowing north to rebid 1N which south raised to 2N and north bid 3N for +630.

So, who should sleep on the couch?

Please select up to 5 choices.

Dave. No one did anything wrong but sleeping on the couch is just Dave's lot in life.
Howie. Psyching in a mixed event is just something that isn't done in polite company.
Cheri. She opened her better minor, something no longer in style. Besides, who ever heard of having a silent letter "j" in their name?
Annie. She had to rebid more than 2S. DBL is possible in context resulting in +500 and a small loss. I don't know what else she might have done. 3C? 3D? 3S?
Dave. Again. 2S should show extras and he should bid 2N.
