Wooldridge likely 2011 ACBL Player of the Year
By our unofficial reckoning, Joel Wooldridge, whose team finished 6th in the North American Swiss to earn 64 platinum points, has passed Bobby Levin in the Player of the Year standings, scoring 667.37 platinum points to Levin's 665.72. The Friday ACBL Daily Bulletin published the top 10 entering the final weekend, all within 175 platinum points of Levin. Since 1st place in the Reisinger awards 200 platinum while 2nd place pays only 150, the only possible winners are either Wooldridge or one of the members of the CAYNE team, who might have been out of the top 10 but within 200 points of Levin. We will update as we learn more.
