Worst bids ever? Best bids ever?

West

South opened 1 out of turn and upon reviewing his options west opened 3 and after two passes South doubled and collected 1100.

South

East was known for creativity in the bidding and opened with 1 in third seat.  Our man bid 4 bid, preceded  by the question  Do you think you are playing with children?  After two further passes east doubled and 1100 later said the answer to your question is yes.

My third offering comes from a big pairs competition whereby the player heard the following auction:

South

Her partner was the late J D R Collins--she decided to bid 2 which went two off.  Bbetween 800 and 1100 were available had she passed.  The aftermath is not printable.

I have one hand as  a candidate for the best bid  Robert Sheehand held:

South
2
AKJ98765432
4

His partner Irving Rose Opened with 5 and after a moments thought bid 5.  Rose as he hoped cue bid 5.  He was the only player to solve this problem.
