I don’t think partner is asking us to pull this Double

What is opener’s 1NT opening range?
What is opener expected to rebid with minimum balanced hand, outside of that NT range with good stoppers in Hearts and none in spades? (2 or 2NT)

If opener could have Jxx - AQxx - KJxx - xx then I like to bid 3.
If opener promise an unbalanced hand then I like to bid 3D.

If I fill in as a director I go out of my way not to make any ruling against my opponents unless it is 110% clear.
I may educate them about proper etiquette and correct procedures…

Life is too short for such precise holdings.

At the table the scientific approach would have won the day.
Partner's hand was: xx Ax AJx AQJ98x and LHO had a normal T lead from KT98x

Alternative plan would be to walk the dog by passing and waiting for the opponents to settle in 4 (or 5) and then compete to 5.

This hand is very pure for Slam.
If partner doesn't want me to accept with this hand they should not invite.
I bid 5NT to give partner a choice between 6 and 6NT (but will probably also Pass if they bid 6)

I think that the explanation of all methods with multiple meanings should include a rough percent of each type of hand.

On this hand for example there should be no claim of damage if the explanation was: Usually a forcing NT type of hand with less than invitational values but about 20% balanced invitational and 10% GF with clubs.

2 was not forcing.
2 was not forcing.
2NT was not forcing.
Why would you play 3 as forcing?

Ray,
In the BAM movement you can only compare at the end.
In the OP movement they compare after each round of two 6 board matches (there are 4 rounds in total)

Thank you Kevin!
I didn’t think ACBLScore did…
Also, contrary to what Daniel wrote, it looks like you must have 2 complete non identical sets of 36 boards for this movement, one for Rounds 1 & 2 and the other for Rounds 3 & 4.
Great movement.

that's all good for team 1… can you provide us with the full movement to make sure there are no repeat matches for a full RR.

How do you synchronize the pairs beyond rounds 1 & 2 to complete the RR?

I think 4 should strongly imply this type of hand because with 5-5 in the minors you would bid 4 and with single suit diamonds you would bid 4 and with a semi/balanced hand you would bid 4NT.
