1N - 2R:

2M+1 (same as 2R+2) : Max, 4-card support, either a trick source in oM or no trick source 3M: Min. 4-card support Else: Max. 4-card support, trick source here Retransfers for all of the above

3M-1: does not exist so we can always retransfer 1N - 2♦ - 2N: max. 4♥, trick source in ♦

After 1N - 2R - 2R+2: 3R is retransfer (i.e not interested) 2R+3 : asks which, then 3M: max. no trick source, 2R+4: max. trick source in oM (re-transfer can still happen)

1) Never played a relay here but after 1♣ - 1♠ - 2♣, 2M is GF semi-natural (and FG hands having gone through 1♠ are similar to Frances's above) 1♣ - 1♠, 2♦ plus are all artificial

2) 1♣ - 1R - 1M has a variety of options in it, not just a wkNT 2-3M, but: a) 1♠: asks partner to bid 1N if they hold a wkNT, then 2♣ is 4♠5♥ upto invite, 2♦ is the walsh hand, 2♥: to play b) 2♣: asks what hand type partner has, similar to XYZ, but we can't play in 2♦ (hence a)) c) 2♦: art FG

3a) Never played a relay after 1♦ - 1N, but as 1♦ is always unbal. 2N is strong single suited with diamonds

3b) 1♦ - 2♣ we play Kokish (2♣ includes FG ♦ raises as 1♦ - 2♦ is 5+♠4+♥ 4-9): 2♦: 5+♦, may have 4cM 2♥: 1444 or 4441 any 2♠: 4♣ any strength 2N: single suited diamonds, thinks it's right to declare NT 3♣: 5♦5♣ minimum 3♦: suit setting 3M: splinter, 5♦5♣ extras

If I have to invite by bidding 2N, I would rather throw up (i.e. pass) at all vuln. maybe FG if losing the match and vuln.

If I could have invited by being able to play in 2♠ (1N - 2♣ - 2♦ - 2♠) certainly would vuln. still pass NV
