The big asset is the speed. There just seems to be some algorithm flaw that it never leads a bid suit and never continues an attack. Thanks Fred for the reminder! I knew all that but was hypnotized by the idea! It is what it is! Someday the programing will match our expectations and the robots will run the world! lol The ease of access and the short use are positives :)

I would solve that hand by passing in the first place. If I am afraid of my hand after getting strong support, then I should fear opening it!

I often play mexican 2D so a 2N rebid is forcing and always unbalanced! That would be my choice here.

Why would East bid over 4H? That is egregious! If partner dbls again, then 4N seems right! West is easily spot on with 5N!

1nt is unlikely to miss a reasonable game. I assume 13-15 NT?

On a good day I might have tried 3S initially. A little light in tricks and cards but not by much.

5 nt
I don't think I can have a much worse maximum and though S may play well, it is hard to construct a hand that is good for 7D that doesn't play well in 6S or 6N…I am going (guessing) NT. At least my hand will be consistent with the auction. The extra J doesn't change my view.

Why would I dbl 4nt? I would probably be in worse situation as I would not have opened to start with!

Seems clear that I should have dbld last round…that said, I will Q and get us to the 3 level (or game) Partner didn't enter so should also be relatively balanced..They could easily have a reasonable hand and we are looking at a 3 suit deck plus baby hearts. Worth one try.

Partner didn't neg dbl, didn't raise clubs, partner has diamonds and this is likely our last plus

Why would I worry? I raised where I didn't need to and I have a lot of room to make game tries. Opening 1NT I get worried that we are in the wrong denomination, alot!

Agreed except over 4S I will try once more with 5H. I have VERY high standards for jump shifts!

I agree with an initial 5C. Seems the best way to disrupt and show where we live.

seven ones often play better than the 4-4 and rarely worse when it is a good suit. I want to be in game but don't want to show power I don't have. 4H is the easy way to accomplish this
