Focus on who to blame wisely, this is no funny games.

The sponsors are not used to believe in accusations unless there is a sound one, with some real evidence. Otherwise, it could be only bad blood or someone just trying to get somebody else out of the way. There are not only good intentions in the bridge world, so some people decide to believe only in what they see, not in what they are told.

Geir and Tor are very correct players and have nothing to do with any of this. Zimmerman and Multon also are not to be blamed of anything, it is not normal to think your teamates cheat, why would anyone think of that without any based accusation? We must remember that rumors are only rumors until they prove to be something - or nothing. Please, let's keep the paranoid minds out of here!

I agree it is clean, but could be more friendly. Also there are some pairs who take advantage of the laws in order to change a result and I would like to see them gone also.

If many countries refuse to play - for a very clear reason, in this case - they won't be allowed to play in the competition.

In this case we will make the reason very clear, nothing to do with the sick reasons you cited.

Please, publish here all the countries that would agree on sending this kind of letter. I will talk with the Brazilian Federation and the Argentinian Federation. Who else?

No reason to postpone, in my opinion. There is another solution: letter from other countries refusing to play against them at the BB.

Roger, you play vertically on the lead and horizontally during the play, but I am sure it does not mean any strange bizarre thing… : )

Both take score at odd moments. I agree that players shouldn't have pen and paper at the table anymore.

The EBL should be able to investigate any misconduct in its championships. It seems very wrong to me that they have to wait in cases like that.

Hey Brad ;) That is a good rule, I thought about it also. This way the defender would have time to think about the hand after seeing dummy and play in tempo when the declarer call a card.

I do not think a player can break tempo even in the first trick, there is too much that can be shown by doing it. A powerfull cheating system can be used to show count (in the suit led or hand pattern - see Vinje signal), preference or encourage, combining these signals with tempo. It is like dirty magic and I saw it at the table, manytimes. It should be forbidden to think and then give the signal, in ANY moment of the game.

Thinking about all the suggestions of making the game more electronic, I realize it is not going to be Bridge anymore. We better find another solution.

I agree with Jeff there are only a few who cheat. I think we know who they are and they will have a short bridge life from now on…

I am very sorry to say this but I went through all the hands and I found many non-logical bids and plays. I will wait for the right decision and be available to help with any analisys you may need.

I still don't think there's enough to make a sound case against them with the hands provided, except the one from Cavendish that Kamil told. Do you have more?

Michael, that one is really strange, 4D with this cards is crazy if the player who bid 3NT was not a passed hand. What was the explanation for this bid?
