Ourgame? Why? For me BBO is enough. For me BBO is nearly perfect.

I do not need that other products would be tested on top contests. I was be deprived of the enjoyment of watching World Cup final.

I consider this a very bad joke, and we should express our disagreement rather than becoming in future the target of such experiments.

Mike Lawrence, The Complete Book On TakeOut Doubles, Bridge Classis, page 27.

RULE

Do not make a takeout double with a five-card major unless you have a good enough hand to double and then bid your major. This is very close to being a 100% rule.

This includes hands with 5-4 in the majors. The reason for this rule is that you may lose the major suit in the bidding.

Next see page 36: hands with 4 spades and 5 hearst.

This hand is good for Michaels 2 diamonds. No perfect bid, hands with 4 spades and 5 hearts is thoug. Hand AKJx, xxxxx, AJx,x is good for Michaels too. Hand xxxx, AQ10xx,Ax,Kx is good for simple 1H and hope to make a delayed takeout double. With hand AKJx, xxxxx,x,xxx pass.

Advocatus diaboli:

If you know illegally the suit of lead, then you not using a standard bidding method, which allow to react to situation.

In my opinion this deal talk in favor of the German doctors.

Btw: point 2 is unfortunate and talk about bias.
