May be or not, declarer sees 25 hcp with 8 quick tricks, and game is a logical contract.

Paul, if H's are 4-3 then 3NT always makes when CQ is on site and also S lead seems more logical since opps has 8 cards rather then 7 card Hs, and you make 10 or 11 tricks after a spade lead when you know CQ is on site. So taking 9 tricks is not a good strategy.

I was the declarer. I saw the dummy and consantrated on entries at dummy. K and t of diamonds was there, enough entries for finesse and thirth diamond back to hand. Played the hand in 5 seconds :)

He can't be sure when he saw the dummy. He saw 4 cards club in dummy, so still his partner may have 4 cards club. Probably he figured it out when he won the club queen before switching to hearts.

Probably reverse of this will help Americans more. Find a hand where others open and American's did not. Full proof.

Thanks to the Bridgewinners team for their efforts and requests for transparency. But i do not agree on seedings depending on MP in an tournament between nations. Also it is not logical to make seedings according to a different tournament which are not related to WBG like EC. According to me it will be more fair to use the results of the previous WBG.

We , as Turkey, qualified to last 16 during last 3 championship, (2004,2008 and 2012) and now seeded at the bottom of the lists in both methods.

Dear Andy, let me support you with an example. Turkey qualified to the last 16 during last three championship. 2004,2008 and 2012. But according to the MP seeding gets a position at the bottom of groups. And Turkey is also at Group B. Which makes the group more stronger. Our MP's in the previous championships were not better then this years teams. We were also in the strongest group (Group D) at 2012 and finished above the teams like China and Iceland

HUM Systems
For the purpose of this Policy, a Highly Unusual Method (HUM) means any System that exhibits one or more of the following features, as a matter of partnership agreement:
a) A Pass in the opening position shows at least the values generally accepted for an opening bid of one, even if there are alternative weak possibilities
b) By partnership agreement an opening bid at the one level may be weaker than pass.
c) By partnership agreement an opening bid at the one level may be made with values a king or more below average strength.
d) By partnership agreement an opening bid at the one level shows either length or shortage in a specified suit
e) By partnership agreement an opening bid at the one level shows either length in one specified suit or length in another.

This is wbf definition. Article b , says weaker than pass. It is a pass hand and opened at one level. Am i missing something ?

My lead totally depends on where the board is put by partner after removing the tray. If he put it right side of the screen a heart if in the middle diamond and if it is on left then a spade.
