Yes, after a t/o double you will often bid your 4c major and it is important to be able to distinguish between values, when bidding 2s you could have more of a mild invite like 8 points

Here’s a very uncommon defense that works very well imo: X=16+ this way when you have a good hand you don’t miss a game… 1d for majors and 1nt through 2s is Woolsey.

Don’t think so… Once you get to the ruff in sluff in diamonds, you can ruff a heart back to your hand and then squeeze West in spades and hearts, right?

Just to be clear, I didn’t really care about coming like 14/15 it didn’t really matter to me. It just seemed like a possible issue and wanted to hear what others thought about it…

The reason I included both was because they seem to both be the director’s opinions, but I know more about the PT’s than ZT’s since I have only gotten a PT. It seems like you can appeal the ruling but from what I had seen it is less effective(not that I tried to) than a standard appeal. Also, I think the ruling against me was a disciplinary penalty.

The same thing, I was just giving a sample auction, basically any time you bid 1s and then rebid 3s it shows a slam try with long spades, but this time it isn’t setting trumps

You have shown 6+ spades and whatever you evaluate to being invitational, 1s denies having a game invitational hand with long spades and 1♥ 1♠ 1nt 3♠ shows a slam try with single suited spades. Are you saying that you think your hand is worth a slam try, or a weak hand with long spades? 2s shows the same thing as a typical 1X 1S 1nt 3s in standard, would you bid this hand differently than that in standard?
