District 6's B team has Hakan Berk in place of David Soukup, I think. They're almost interchangeable, as the two will be playing together next month when they represent the U21 USA 2 squad in Istanbul for the Junior world championships.

Burke Snowden, who is on the District 17 B team, will also be on that team. He has multiple titles in the Youth NABC, and was a member of the U21 USA2 squad that played in China two years ago, just like Hakan and David.

Nolan Chang will be on the U21 USA1 team, and won the GNTs for Flight C last year. He'll be a favorite to repeat, although the District 21 team provides some sharp opposition in Kendrick Chow and Samuel Kuang, two strong Juniors.

They don't show ranks ahead of you during the game. You see your running percentage on that board and then your rank at the end of the session once your boards are in.

100% agreed. No point in wasting 10 minutes when it carried out in better analysis later.

I completely agree. All the clubs where I play regularly use Bridgewebs to post the results, so I always look at the boards there to see what went right, what went wrong, and if there any wrong scores that we didn't originally catch. Tempers are cooled after time too.

Valid point. My club is a member of The Common Game and we get complaints whenever a score does not seem right from the Bridgemate. The main technical error with the Bridgemate is making the right side the declarers. This would be less likely to happen with the pick-up slips, even though that would be more work than using Bridgemates. It's a technology vs. old-fashioned argument that can go either way.

That is all true. I was so used to the 2 response that I didn't think about 5. Thanks Mr. Martin!

Would the best auction be 2-2-2-3-4-4-4NT-5-6?

Well, I'm not unlimited, being a passed hand, but there is still plenty of bidding room to explore for the slam. If I had splintered, I hope he would have started looking further than the shutout 4 bid. I agree with the part where my partner should have done something to make sure slam was reached. Thanks Mr. Allan!

I do play Kickback in with some partners, but not with the one where this hand occurred. Nonetheless, that is very helpful. Thanks Mr. Moese!

I almost did that, but I wasn't sure how my partner would take it. Thanks for the advice Mr. Diamond!

That's true. Do you suggest that my partner bid 3 over 3, since I am showing extras by bidding slowly? Thanks Mr. Adams!

That's a good point. I don't mind declaring, but it seems that every logical finesse is off. At least the robot is better at the finessing part. It's just everything else that the robot does that becomes really bad.

I looked into jumping, but the description did not fit my hand. I guess 4NT would have been a better bid.

I almost bid 3NT, but thought I was too strong with that hand. I also considered going straight to 6H, but then if W has all the remaining points, that's in trouble also. If GIB can make it, they should. As you said, no reason for that lead. He knows the K is either singleton or doubleton.
