Seems to me it simply is easier and more effective to treat it as not forcing since by this treatment we may catch them more often. With this specific hand, I certainly would pass or X in a casual partnership in dependence of my view on the intelligence of my pard by my judgement that it would be the last opportunity to go plus.

Why the rules of bridge should be not confusing to directors since the mere game of bridge is at least occasionally confusing even to the top experts?

What a problem hand!

Exactly. Why do you think there's any net gain when you show the shape of both hands to defenders while both of you still remain puzzled whether the final decision was right?

That's exactly opposite of my approach; I take what I think is a proper bridge action, and if leads to a disaster we may talk it over. What my partner was supposed to do with Axxx,Qx,KQxx,xxx?

I'm not sure if I get the logic of FP here

Stephen, you should supply more information regarding whether 5(332) hands bid 2N or 2, or if you play Kokish. If 22-24 balanced hands systematically bid 2N, 5 is a fortiori obligatory

Donald, with your hard work on those beautiful spot cards you run a chance of receiving Lynn's vote!

I don't understand how does your convention help with the ‘puzzlement’ of the second paragraph relative to regular Stayman

Well, one may always investigate which bidding box was more void of X cards

Why do you think that X is out of question? With this collection, I'd rather defend 3 unexed than make partner declare 3

Perfect ad for 3 not serious by responder. After 3N= cue and 4 by partner, the hand dies

Rafael, jumping to game doesn't show great hand. N should cue to show this hand.

I expect partner to bid differently in case 3N is a good contract

Aren't mathpoints against a single player in BBO setting a good equivalent of board-a-match, a tad better way of comparison than straight imps?

I'm surprised 4 is a relatively small minority here

Doesn't look like min to me, and the hand gets even better after partner bid 3 after 2 and the subsequent raise by N. In the actual sequence I'm all for 3 with this hand
