If partner doesn't like my X, I had 9 mixed with the suit

It should be clear whether our partner has the ability to count his tricks

KISS with any preference of your choice but personally I prefer cheaper for the fourth suit and more expensive for the opener's suit

What referees did was perhaps worse on ethical grounds than the Schumacher crime. Not winning the worldcup by Palatini, Tigana, Giresse, Fernandez and Bossis felt like one of the worst jokes God could play on us.

I got happy as soon as I saw the Dutch pair bid it combined with the club lead, but defenders make blunders too.

Richard is not like David Burn for all I know, but most Britons have a few their warm beers a day (I have a few of cold ones, to distinguish myself)

Do you ever consider that the opps may be helpful?

You are right; I missed the natural feature of JK/MN although the upper limit of one-level bids of 23 is not usual in American systems. Anyway, what I like in Nasz is that 2N after 1any-1M response is GF, possibly with four-card fit in M.

I must admit that vugraph watching of the last segment of Poland-Holland made my Saturday routine of horse steak almost without the usual joy. Of course, I had a good compensation for that when the Dutch pair went down in 6 on board 27 causing my reaction such that my befriended Qazaq waitress run really fast to my table to ask what's wrong.

I believe that's the right place to mention the role of Pierre Zimmermann, whose change of the country blessed with his team made the participation of Poland possible

Somehow, I have some doubts about the veracity of the claim laid in the title

'Always' is an overstatement for opening 5M6m 1M, but I generally prefer 5-3 MM to 6-2 mm fits.

Interestingly, it may be the first instance of a Polish team in the finals of a major without a single pair playing Polish . All pairs play a variant of a system called NS (short from Nasz System, ‘Our System’ in English), which is a hybrid between Polish and American natural systems. They have some really cute gadgets (especially after 1M-1N) I'd be salivating to learn. You may look for convention cards at http://www.ecatsbridgenews.com/WBFsystems/default.asp?dir=Bermuda-Bowl-2019Wuhan

A death hand in natural systems. I hope I survive 2

I think the loss to Poland may have been partly generated by the huge come back against England. The elation it had possibly produced may easily took away some stinginess/aggression necessary to succeed in the following match. I apparently don't want to take too much out of the successful play of my country men, either.

No matter how I would like to challenge David Burn who can drink more, I don't understand why he insists that insanity requires special protection.
