My 2 favorite bridge books, not necessarily educational, but are great reads IMO are:

1. My Favorite 52 by Larry Cohen

2. Right thru the Pack by Darvas, de V Hart

Never tire of reading either of them

Agree. Certainly X1 should be addressing the behavior.

I know!! As an aside…the photo in our profile is from a Chicago Team Trials, taken I believe by Peg Kaplan, about 8 years ago is my guess. We had a phenomenal time!!!

I have played in 3 Team Trials; with both my wife and my son. They were BY FAR, the 3 best bridge experiences of my life. I hope to play in some more in the future, but costs, both time and actual $$$ are significant to us. Particularly when the event is in Chicago, or farther West. I believe they were in Phoenix or Vegas a couple times. Jan, I love you, and you are the greatest—-but if you could just get the venue back to New York for 1 more year……..

We are devastated and numb. So many memories….soda on his shirt in Gatlinburg, Wendy's in Hunt Valley. Being with Michael was always FUN! His one-liners were epic. “hold ya caads back”. When you finished kibitzing Michael for a session, you felt like you could beat ANYONE the next time you played. So very sad. RIP, my friend, you were THE Rock Star!!!!!!

Saw this in another thread; but still wondering—-are there videos of F/S and F/N cheating against each other??

Thanks Ray, I missed that URL. It does look a bit tedious IMO. Trying to get other people's ACBL number, for instance. However, doesn't seem too outrageous to complete if someone feels an “incident” has occurred. It is a bit disturbing that something like this, once completed, gets “lost” somehow….

I have never completed a Recorder Form; but I believe I have heard they are very difficult/confusing to complete. I wonder if someone could comment on that—and whether that causes some folks to not complete the form???

That was incredible Allan. Your “love of the game” is very apparent. Thank you!!

HATE STOP cards and agree completely with Mel. My favorite “club” play is the hesitation with a singleton. Happens quite often it seems. And yet, I agree completely with Peg….the offenders just don't get it at all.

Would seem that the “dummy” shall (re)move the tray henceforth.

Kudos to Bridgewinners for this excellent site!!! What a fascinating few days; and extremely interesting threads to follow from all angles. Can't help but be impressed by all the work many individuals have put into this whole process. Will be very interesting to see where it all ends! So glad I haven't had Eugene Hung's job these last few days!!! ;-)
