Here's a handy guide to some of the terms you might across:

Hi there! Bona fide transgender person here.

As someone whose local trans community has lost at least four youth to suicide since the beginning of the year, I find this comment about future generations to be astoundingly uninformed. We're losing young people to suicide and violence at a mind-numbing rate, and many of the rest face discrimination in access to housing, employment, medical care, and legal protections.

Since you care so much about future generations, then feel free to educate yourself on some basic facts about homelessness among LGBTQ youth in the United States.

Otherwise, please feel free to continue to speak your mind, but don't pretend that attitudes like yours do anything constructive toward building a better world for today's youth.

Watchin' every motion in my foolish partner's game
On this endless ocean, these f****** cheaters know no shame
Turnin' and returning to some secret code inside
Watchin' in slow motion as you turn around and say

TAKE MY TRAY AWAY

Two players (you probably know which ones) were suspended by the ACBL for suspicious actions during the last qualifier. Hopefully, that serves as a deterrent.

Airfare, three nights of hotel, and a stipend for expenses for each qualifier. Plus a $500 scholarship to each member of the winning team.

There are no proctors for the Collegiates. There probably will be next year if the ACBL wants to prevent well-timed thin doubles followed by ace-underleads.

A 3 rebid would have been non-forcing.

You have probably observed that the ACBL convention card, especially the defense section, is not very thorough. In particular, trump leads are not specified separately, and the effect is that it's not clear what's standard, and/or players don't know what's supposed to be standard. So it's prudent to ask, especially when it's not going to be on your card.

Your answer to the initial question (not fourth best in trump) seems decidedly not standard (here), nor is it complete, so declarer was doing his due diligence, as he is entitled.

And finally, if you felt that his behavior was disruptive or contrary to fair play, you were free to call the director and express your concerns.

I thought so too, which is why I think that OP's suggestion is just…..smoke and mirrors.

Does the ACBL distinguish between the terms “playing area” and “playing site?”

How was the poll conducted? Asking just about East's last call is essentially asking, “Were you thinking about game or slam with your pass on the previous round?” So it seems more useful to ask what they would do over the double and filter out anyone bidding 4 directly.
