Okay, can someone offer an auction where you can arrive at 6C which is unbeatable?

I of course, being very old-fashioned, considered two hearts forcing.

My ex suggests that it is certainly forcing until it is not forcing. A partner who was not certain whether or not it was a reverse could bid 3 hearts and over the four club bid that would come next could now bid 4 diamonds and hopefully come up with a pass over the 6 club bid that would be next.

Thank you too Barry or commenting.

Well Kent, I was the one with the clubs. I bid 6C after partner's diamond cue bid in support of hearts (presumably a single diamond and 4 hearts.

But, you did opt to pass 6 clubs so if I had been bidding the hand with you and you had made the same bids as indicated we would have survived the heart reverse with two which after all is only one less heart than 3!

by the way, thanks for the discussion.

Right you are Kent.

Actual hand quite extreme. Void, Ax, xx, AKQJ109876.

We were two average players. I wonder how the experts would bid it and if they would get expertly get to 6C.

P.S. We played 7 clubs after 6H was bid over 6C
