She found the only card that sees the game through. Never said otherwise. Probably taught to keep parity with the board’s diamonds. South might be walking the dog a little bit.

If South is held to seven tricks, I don't see how she can beat anything on defense.

Two of the last three tricks will be transferred to the defense. He won the trick on which he revoked and his side won a subsequent trick.

Well if we account for strength of partner and strength of field, why not the Champion system? Why the last 25 results instead of the last two years.

If I wanted 25 consecutive good results i’d Get a good partner and a bad field.

My wife died day after Yom Kippur. I got a hand where she made a unusual lead with comical results but I skipped it .

A zero card suit is a hit with probability one. A one card suit has a 1/13 of being a hit . A two card suit has a 2/13 chance of being a hit ie when either is the two. A three card suit has a 3/13 * 10/12 chance of being a hit. 3/13 chance of contains the 3 and a 10/12 chance of not containing the 2 given given that one card is the 3. A four card suit has a 4/13 • 10/12 • 9/11 • 8/10 chance of a hit. A 4/13 chance of containing the 4 and the rest chance of not contains the 3 or 2 given that one card is a 4 . A five card suit has a 5/13 • 9/12 • 8/11 • 7/10 • 6/9 chance of being a hit. A six card suit has a 6/13 • 8/12 • 7/11 • 6/10 • 5/9 • 4/8 of being a hit. A seven card suit has a 7/13 • 6/12 • 5/11 • 4/10 • 3/9 • 2/8 • 1/7 of being a hit.

Ok now get A list of the probability of each distribution and multiply by chance that each suit is a hit.

I print out three hand records per table for an open game and two hand records per table for a nlm game. The number who look at results online I do not know. The usual excuse when I hand someone a hand record and they refuse is they'll look at it online. Thousand oaks prints out 20 hand records for 20 tables. I think the people are just indoctrinated to look online. Maybe if our club made a push to save the trees we can get more online people.

I need a snarky Alice in wonderland comment but can’t think of one. West played the queen of hearts. Who was the guy “you both have the queen.”

East needs the queen of diamonds to open even in this day and age. Split result. NS gets the table result and ew 4 spades making.

8000 games or 800 a year more than two a day. Maybe for on line players.

I’ve never had a bit call in the non-life master game. And a majority of the calls in the open game are coming from one individual (who happens to be flight A). I can enforce the rules because it is the rules but I really doubt anyone is taking advantage.

How do you earn 2500+ points in ten years without some basic skills? You can get 2500 points without being great at the game but you have to know something. Master points do determine what flight you are in but not necessarily your ability.

800 points isn’t my definition of C. Not only the A players. Only one A player.

I never adjust the score for C players who break in tempo. Of course if there is some evidence they were gaining an edge I would remedy that. Literally every call for break in tempo is generated by one certain A player. And I nod and I grab a hand record and I look concern and I never adjust the score.

You A players out there, you are going to get more masterpoint by being nice and encouraging C players to come back then you are calling the director on them.
