Don't really want to give pd the impression I have a doubleton heart.

If north leads a diamond, are we hopping?
If not south can switch to spades and then they get to 5 before we get to 9.

I realize east is a limited opener, but the quality of the west club suit suggests bidding game opposite even a precision opener

Are you playing double-barreled over this - or is it 4-way etc.

We're all looking at j98 of hearts saying pd should have played the 9. But to east, the 8 looks like a pretty high spot

This is where you hover your mouse over the robot's bid to see what it meant :)

When west leads the stiff heart against 6m, we have a fair bit of work to do.
Also very hard to bid with such a balanced north hand opposite an opener that can't make a takeout double for want of spades. Be happy just to make 3N

I just have no systemic method to find both third round black suits covered.
And honestly, in my auction, 3H was GF with hearts. They did not promise four

Bad spots. Void in pd's suit. I don't mind the slight underbid of 2C. It has a wide value range.

Who counts HCP when deciding whether to bid 2S or 4S with an 8 card suit?

To me the sack is more likely to be a void than a stiff King behind the strong hand.

2H being a balanced inv hand, spade preempt or 2.5 D :)

I'd guess about 68.3% of the time, pd bids 5H. Now what?

This is the kind of hand where it would be better if we could show our assets to pd and let them decide rather than ask and guess

I'm really more perturbed by your use of the word adieu. Really you mean ado

If 2D is gf, then skipping 4C to jump to 5 is bad. Give pd a chance to cue hearts.
