Is it just me who disagrees with 2 bid? I like 1nt as better response to 1s announcing my values and stoppers

How was the team USA selected? Such abysmal performance from USA was never expected!

I am definitely suprised with North's pass of 5 opposite a splintered partner! Usually the dbl of ops bid above your game level after a slam interest is shown by your partner means that no interest, pass says i m interested, and bidding definitely means offence!

Why is the sad hand making Vul Michaels with that hand be interested in slam at all?

Anyways on hearing my partner's pass of 5h I am surely bidding 6s with that hand of controls

We have to try here to be unethical at bridge table and defeat the contract! What is the correct lead to do that?

Well, dummy is damn sure of 6c so dia shortness is out of question for partner!

But he took a pause at 6c and not doubled…huh…

maybe he wants a particular major to be led and other major lead is gonna help the declarer! which major is correct one?

I think heart lead is what partner demands by long pause…. If Partner would have passed in tempo, spade was the normal lead… But using the UI, I lead hearts!

opponents have a huge heart fit and if 2h is just a single suiter bid, I am happy passing 4H vul. If 2H is hearts + some suit i am willing to sacrifice!

Usually my P shows club shortness when he doubles 1c-1d and to penalise this 1nt p must have 15+ Hcp!

I am happy passing and leading a diamond!

If your partner is playing the superacceptance sequences with 3 cards and 4 cards both… better pass this 2h!

Thanks everyone for your comment!
I wanted to know what is the standard treatment of these ranges! As direct 1nt by my P would be 15-18 in standard, my P can have upto 14 HCP balanced hand for have passed before and now bid 1NT! Do you agree? And working backwards, A takeout dbler can have min (20-14=)6 HCP for making the balancing double!

Partner's dbl clearly says…ops are overboard! Lets Collect! Lead a small dia and see the proceedings!

West hand possibilities are:
Cards Already Showed:QT9 4285 Q8

If west is discarding a club on diamonds, he definitely doesnt have a doubleton queen! In fact dropping of club Queen guarantees a QJxx club holding with him!

West wants u to finesse in clubs… and hence we can conclude that spades are blocking and heart ace has to be with west himself. Spade Discard by east seems a misguiding card!

I would just play a heart here!
