If you want to clean up bridge you need to keep the discussion clean. In this topic a lot of people try to make someone look very bad and that has nothing to do with justice or cleaning up. It's premature revenge.

B might very well be a cheat. We will see. But if presenting brilliancies that not happened in real life is a good indication for cheating, i can name some other suspects. I think we all can.

And 200 viewers on the live-stream. It's a big thing, but only for a very very small group of people.

why do you think it's apparent that the 3 pairs knew the other two were cheating?

If you take a short look at the video it becomes clear in how many ways it s possible to cheat, especially when playing with a tray and screens. In this case maybe the place the biddingcard is put on the tray tells something. Sometimes it is closer to the middle of the tray than in other occasions. Probably it's nothing. I don't have the slightest idea if i always put the biddingcard at the same place. Easy to see something in nothing when you look at the video's.

After what happened today , I think the original post is still OK. A price is paid for the public lynching that is taking place. The next rumour -victem might be innocent. It is also questionable whether the guilty deserve the approach that they get now . We no longer live in the Middle Ages. To be clear: I am happy with any cheater which is out (for -at least- some time).

Statistics are dangerous. Suppose 98 % plays fair and 2 % cheats. You have a statistical method that makes the 2% cheaters with 100 % certainty a suspect. There is of course a margin of error in the results of non cheaters. Let's say that it is only 3%. So in less than 1/30th of all cases the method doesn't work. We will all agree that this is a very good method. You examine the results of 200 pairs. At the end of the day there are ten pairs suspected and only four of them are cheaters.

I can bid 2 natural, but maybe it's a good idea to play pass and then bidding spades stronger than bidding two spades at your first turn.

I doubled. Kudos for the 5NT bidder(s). Guess 7D if pd bids 6D, bid 6H after 6C. 5NT could be a big winner.

Pass should feel right if you think it will bring you (on average) a satisfactory part of the matchpoints. Most voters think so. I don' t , but i have been wrong before :)
