The New Jacoby-2NT

All new-advanced approaches have a common goal, to distinguish different opening hands in distributions and strength (HCP range), and most of them are facing with a same problem - the design in the limited space. Specifically, a more logical, unified and completed way for asking and responding, without causing memory efforts to partners, is important.

For example, most those advanced approaches mixed balanced and unbalanced hand in one category, and use different way for responding (Low-Mid-High and C-D-oM). Complication or memory issues are noticed. My proposal is focused on the improvements in those areas. It currently cover 28 types of 1M opening hand in distributions and strength, but if I still miss any major area please share it with me.

3♣ = Singleton or non-mini Void.    3♦ asks:

  3♥ = non-mini Void.    3NT re-asks: 4♣/4♦/4♥ = ♣/♦/oM

  3♠ = non-mini Singleton.    3NT re-asks: 4♣/4♦/4♥ = ♣/♦/oM

  4♣/4♦/4♥ = mini Singleton in ♣/♦/oM

3♦ = non-mini 5-4-2-2.    3♥ asks (4-cards suit):

  3♠ = 18+.    3NT re-asks: 4♣/4♦/4♥ = ♣/♦/oM

  4♣/4♦/4♥ = ♣/♦/oM (good 14-17)

3♥ = non-mini 5-3-3-2.    3♠ asks (range):

  3NT = 15-17

  4♣/4♦/4♥ (below trump) = 18-19 & cue-bid

  4M = 14 or non-mini

3♠ = mini Void.    3NT asks:

  4♣/4♦/4♥ = mini Void in ♣/♦/oM

3NT = 7-2-2-2 or 6-3-2-2.    4♣ asks:

  4♦ = 7-2-2-2

  4♥ = 6-3-2-2

4x = 2 good suited hand (same as the standards)

4M = mini 5-3-3-2 / 5-4-2-2 (same as the standards)

--Notes--
