Did anyone ask for their money back?
I remember an aggregate (yes really) tournament over 24 boards where a couple of E/W pairs scored over +10,000, with the average score that way being about +6,000. The winning score N/S was about -2,500.
A definition of the good player (defender)
Since I am, on my better days, an okay player, I tend to think of a good player(bidder, defender, declarer) as one of the many people that I know is better than me. Some are very good.
