The Death of Teams
Playing Swiss, paring makes all games relevant. You will not see a do-not-care team plays a make-or-break team at the end.
The Death of Teams
RR has its problem too. Often some of the teams are not in the competition towards the end, either way. If you arrange the order of play in Swiss style, the lower tables are fighting for match awards at the end. Swiss fixes this. If one wants to win, he ...

The aces make the hand extremely attractive for club open. In the actual bidding, 3S could be last train.
Michael Seamon Junior USBC (Part 3)
Board 17 on page 1, South needs to act. Holding CKQ, hard to imagine 3C without CA and 7 cards. The hand is infinitely better than pass.
Michael Seamon Junior USBC (Part 2)
I was vugraphing another table and heard this set had a lot of (aggressive) slams. Didnt dig into the piles to review. Thank you for highlighting.
