Maybe 100 Platinum is a better measure than 500 MP. There are a couple of youths make more than 500 MP in a year and they need LM status for some NABC+ games.

Part of the problem is that there is no long range team event in Fall NABC which sees lower (top) foreign attendance. One stone two birds. By not entering an event from beginning, for whatever reason, indicating no/less interest in that event. Let it be.
