If you think player/s cheating, why not report it forthwith? Instead of waiting decades (10+ yrs) to jump on it??? Maybe reporter will get "Player of the Year" not thought of till someone gets it that way.

Thanks, ugh, so "convict" is used the way you say, and can be used both ways. Looks like its used your way with relish. Agree on word, electrocution as, ugh, big joke!!!

Bridge is a game, right? When I see bridge players referred to as "convict", and in the same breath, electrocution, I am appalled. To my knowledge, they are not in the criminal justice system in USA at least.

I'm reading a lot of vengeance/revenge in the remarks here. Believe they can backfire..that is, hurt the author not in bridge but emotionally.

It has been written that cheating in bridge leads to improvement of the game. The "legal" signals have evolved over many years i.e., high-low; Smith echo, Lebensahl, suit preference, etc. These signals are taken for granted and completely "legal" now.(alerted/profiled)

In reading the comments re: F/S, ruling, I am appalled at the vitriolic aftermath of so-called expert bridge players who seem to like the "holier than thou" position.
What should be the Criteria that the Bridge Federations set when appointing Representatives to International Championships
I totally agree with you Rolf E.Olsen. Due process has been sadly missing. I have written about it more than once on F/B. The defense has spoken now so maybe justice will prevail.
