Cheating on BBO
I don't understand cheating. It must be extremely boring. Like reading the ending of a book first. I think this has been a fine experiment. I miss the cards in my hands, the opponents at my side, my partner's frustration. Online bridge or bridge on tablets will never ...
No Open World Championships Until 2024?
You don't know me, Donald, but in my case it is "follow the glory". I considered writing that my dream is to win a world championship (as it is for so many others) but did not find it relevant to talk about my motives. I also have a thing ...
No Open World Championships Until 2024?
It is just interesting that usually the opposite is the case. The WBF have rules that smaller nations can only compete in the Venice Cup/Bermuda Bowl if they send a team to the "olympics" and this has been a challenge for many smaller federations. I realise it might be ...

John McAllister's bidding problem: AJ6432 A A763 43
If my partner does anything but double, we will have a discussion.
It Happened One Day
LOL, I'm gonna tell Gus about this :-)
Why Zimmermann should not have won the Monaco Winter Games

Why Zimmermann should not have won the Monaco Winter Games
The two other examples you mention are to me clearcut 3C-bids, especially in 3rd seat. But perhaps that is a matter of partnership agreements. I agree it is a monster. I also agree that partner's hand is way too good for 3C.
