C.Milton Shefchik's bidding problem: Kxx AQT K9xxx Ax
What should partner do over 3NT with AQJxx,x,AQ10,KQxx? Give opener Kx,Axx,Kxxxx,AJx and you have 13 tricks in NT.
C.Milton Shefchik's bidding problem: Kxx AQT K9xxx Ax
That seems to be the consensus, but you have the same tricks in either contract. AQJxx,x,AQ10,KQxx.
2 Clubs: to open or not to open
Jess. Nice hearing from you. I play almost exclusively on BBO, where few know that I'm better than most.
C.Milton Shefchik's bidding problem: JT8 T3 AK2 QJ643
x,AKQx,QJ1098xxxz,void Seemed to me the thing to do.
2 Clubs: to open or not to open
Sry about the oversight but if diamonds are 1-1 you have an entry.
2 Clubs: to open or not to open
Hard to stop in 6 diamonds when responder has Jx,AQJxx,6x,AK10x and hears 2 club opener from pard
2 Clubs: to open or not to open
Seems the majority of ACBL members and others on BBO pretty much do as they please.
C.Milton Shefchik's bidding problem: JT8 T3 AK2 QJ643
x,AKQx,QJ109xxxx,void. One diamond may have worked, but the opponents are bound to interfere. Seems AKx diamonds just what the doctor ordered.
C.Milton Shefchik's bidding problem: JT8 T3 AK2 QJ643
Your action seems quite clear to me. My hand was: x,AKQx,QJ109xxxx,void.While one diamond may have worked it likely would be met with a lot of interference.
C.Milton Shefchik's bidding problem: JT8 T3 AK2 QJ643
No agreement as to meaning of 5 diamonds. Little if anything written on the subject.
