I originally thought north showed minors, but given his hand, the only thing that makes sense is that when he bid 3D, he didn't see his partners double. Then after the cue bid, he saw the the double, and is trying to play catchup. I don't think playing ...

I would have bid 4S, (which would have been somewhat ambiguous in this auction because we were jammed). I chose to pull to 6D. My reasoning was that if pass is forcing, then pass and pull, to a new suit, would be my strongest action, not an offer to play ...
