Junior USBC Open Discussion Thread
Zone 2 has 3 countries, USA, Canada, Mexico. With 173,334 registered players from Zone 2, it is allotted 3 entries for World Youth Team events. www.worldbridge.org under Zonal Championships lists this information. USA is granted 2 slots and Mexico or Canada completing the other spot. I don ...
Support Our Junior Trials - BBO VuGraph - Monday-Wednesday!
Many mentors invested in training Juniors at the bridge camp in July, 2013 in St. Charles, IL. Debbie Rosenberg is leaving a wonderful deep footprint for her leadership in the SiVY bridge club. As a parent, I appreciate especially these investments. Special additional thanks to Jan and Chip Martel and ...
2014 EBTC - BALICKI-ZMUDZINSKI - Hand Review
It appears to me that Cezary Balicki fidgets a lot and makes many demonstrative movements and facial expressions during his play. I am reluctant to draw any conclusions apart from a speculated pattern of signaling. I defer to experts to draw their conclusions, but I do not see this as ...
World Championship Finals Matchups

A Disturbing Trend
We need to continue funding the WBF as Steve suggested. I would be fine with giving proportional awards for 5 or 6 person KO teams based on the amount played. We do this for Swiss teams already.
NABC/Youth NABC
Hi Barry, The Youth NABC is Thursday, Friday and Saturday with two session events: Youth Pairs on Friday, and Youth Swiss Teams on Saturday. Within the separate section for the Youth are an abundance of parents, kids, and volunteers to provide a comfortable area for the kids and everyone. Food ...
The Hook
Eric you could consider highlighting achievements of players from either MN and district 14 or collegiate players in the recent past. We have many people from GNT, NAP from MN pairs and teams which the students could view to think, hey, if they can compete nationally, I can try this ...
The Hook
Eric, Yu Hasin added great comments. I would publish the recent photo of Cal-Berkeley's winning team from the Collegiate Championships. Isha Thapa played in Istanbul, Turkey for the USA Girls team as well. Highlighting success with teams and mentioning Collegiate Championships in USA and World Team competitions as well ...
